What I Want Wednesday: Boho Chic

I easily get myself in trouble doing searches on the Internet for beautiful Boho tops and dresses...but I simply can't resist. I'd love for these {or something very similar} to hit my closet soon.

How stunning is this dress? Perfect for a night out this summer.

Gypsy 05 Spaghetti Maxi Dress

This dress is amazing...I love all the colors and the pattern. I would actually wear it as a top with jeans.

Tolani Murphy Dress

Same with this one...it could easily work as a top or a dress. Would be great layered.

X Revolve Bella Dress

I love a good strapless maxi with a fun pattern...

Wednesday Wishlist

Happy Hump Day!

I want to start out this post by saying how completely devastated I was to hear of Robin Williams' passing...and even more so when I heard the cause was suicide. It really goes to show you that someone you may know, someone who may seem so bright and funny, can still suffer from, and possibly succumb to, depression. If any of y'all reading this know anyone going through this, or maybe you yourself have a case of the blues, I implore you to reach out to them, or reach out and get help. I will say that Robin Williams was the type of guy to never make anyone unhappy...but for the first time in my life, he did so when he did this to himself. RIP Robin Williams...you will be missed and your movies, talent and wonderful laughs you create will be treasured forever.

I am enjoying our last week of summer vacation, but am also so eager to get back on a regular schedule. It's been nice having the lazy summer days to get used to Farrah's "routine", or rather, attempt to get her into one, but now that she's just over 3 months, she is a bit more predictable, so it will be nice to finally have a schedule. I swear, with not working and it being summer vacay for Tanner, I have no idea what day of the week it is most days.

Anywho...onto my lust list:

These shoes by Julianne Hough for Sole Society. They're no Valentino, but they've got that look. And I'll be real, I'm a Sole Society girl in a Valentino world. They were sold out at Nordstrom in this color, but I found them on Sole Society's website and my size was still in stock. If you find anything you like there, use Promo Code: TREAT25OFF to get 25% off your order.

This top would look so great with a blazer this fall.

I'm a big fan of Kate Spade and I'm in love with this little handbag. It's the perfect size for a night out. {Wish I got more of those!}

I'm also loving Kate Spade's newest arrivals in jewelry. Farrah's birthstone is emerald and her collection is full of that color. I'm particularly smitten with these.

Enjoy the rest of your week!

Want to Wear Wednesday

I've been a bad girl.

I've been perusing online clothing sites and filling my shopping carts. Right now, through the weekend, Nordstrom is having their anniversary sale and so many items are deeply discounted. I'm thinking ahead and I've got fall fashion on my mind. Here are a few things I'm planning to sport...and a few wishlist items thrown in as well.

This Free People {one of my most favorite brands} tunic is so unique and figure-flattering. I love the length as well. I'm going to pair it with a light camisole, skinny jeans and boots come fall. It stays pretty warm here in Charleston through October, so this will be perfect for the weather.

As if my husband would let me buy another high-end pair of aviators...but a girl can dream {for now}. I love the color of these sunnies by Kate Spade. After all, my Ray Ban aviators are blue...so, of course I still need pink..right? RIGHT? If only I could convince Jake of that.

I. Love. This. Sweater. The length is awesome so it can be paired with leggings or jeans. Definitely a staple item that will be worn a lot this fall and winter. There are other colors too and I love the zipper detail on the shoulders.

I encourage you to head to Nordstrom's sale if your wardrobe needs some freshening...so many good deals right now. And as always, shipping is free at Nordstrom.

I know I posted about rompers yesterday, but I just found this little gem at Lookbook Store and had to share.

Isn't that back lace detailing gorgeous?

Happy Hump Day, y'all!

What I Want Wednesday

This is going to be a different take on the typical What I Want Wednesday...while there are many things I crave that are of the materialistic variety...there are a few things I crave a little more.

1. Farrah to sleep through the night every night.
Yeah, I know, she's only just shy of 7 weeks old, so I in no way expect this to happen any time soon. She has actually had a couple long stretches of 6 or 7 hours, which do make me so happy when they happen, but I never expect it to happen often. It will be nice to get back to the days when my sleeping schedule is actually a schedule.

2. To Lose 30+ lbs.
This 3rd pregnancy surely did me in. I hate the scale...I hate not fitting into my pre-prego clothes...I hate that all of my hard work has gone down the drain and I'm {again} starting from scratch. I want this weight GONE. I am so impatient, I realize that. But I don't think my feelings on this subject are going to ever change. Just have to keep working out and eating right - stay the course!

3. My boys to get along more than they fight.
Having a newborn in the house, while a happy and wonderful time, can also be a stressful and exhausting time. Add into the mix two boisterous boys that are constantly bickering and you are ready to down a bottle of wine by the end of the day. And some nights, I do.

A rare get-along moment: Using their imaginations with some big cardboard boxes I threw out in the backyard for them.

Now of course the rest of my "wants" are materialistic in nature.

OK, rant over. xoxo

What I Want Wednesday

You'd think after Christmas passed, I wouldn't have too much on my want list, but I'll be honest, I don't get a lot of gifts for Christmas anymore. Don't feel sorry for me...we spent much of Hubby's bonus on much-needed baby items and he and I don't shop for each other. We figure, it's all coming from the same pot, so what's the point? So anyway, that leaves me with a still pretty lengthy lust list...and it grows nearly by the day.

1} OMG, these pants...are you kidding me? Sooooooo cute. I could picture myself rocking them in barre class {hopefully minus the pregnant belly and extra weight in the rear}. At $74, they beat Lulu in price...hopefully they have the longevity in them as well.

2} I've said it before {and I'll probably say it again once more before I actually bite the bullet and buy them}, but I need a pair of Hunter rain boots. That's it. I just do. I have been eyeing them in this color for a while. Yet, I can't decide if it would just be smarter to get them in basic black.

3} How fun are these ponchos? I'm really into the Bohemian look, and I love my Aztec sweater I found last year...I just love the colorful patterns. I love the middle one best...what about you?

4} I've been looking for a bar cart forever. I would love a pink one like this. Our kitchen is black, grey and white with pops of pink in the decor, so I think it would go just swimmingly in there. However, the $950 price tag is going to keep it from my wine-glass-holdin' hands.

So, I've instead been looking for DIY options. I have been searching everything from rolling racks, bookshelves and changing tables to find the perfect piece to makeover into a charming little pink bar cart and I've finally found it...I'm picking her up tonight from a lady in my neighborhood {it was on Craigslist, so that's a score in itself to find something in your own 'hood!} It may be hard to see now, but I've got a good vision for this thing. I may actually utilize it as a changing table after painting it pink, and THEN do the bar cart thing, but not sure. I may not be able to wait that long to set my booze out fashionably.

That's all for now...simply can't overwhelm you with ALL my wants at once now. Happy Hump Day!
